Analysts opinion There has been a definitive agreement that The Sherwin-Williams Company (SHW) will acquire the Valspar Corporation. SHW will pay $11.3 Billion, or $113 per share in an all-cash transaction. This has been approved by the boards of both the companies, an announcement by VAL said today. However, in case divestitures are required, the companies have agreed to a price of $105 in cash.
Sentiments Due to the news, VAL prices rose 27% pre-market. It may surge upto $113. Investors have bullish sentiments for the stock.
